Looking for practical support beyond traditional therapy or tutoring?

Initial Consultation

Let's start with a 30-minute conversation about your teen. You'll meet with Mike or Sean to talk through what's going on, what you're hoping for, and how we work. Most importantly, we'll figure out together if we're the right fit.

Finding What Works

We begin by learning your teen's actual patterns. What's blocking them? We investigate: school portal, habits, what derails them. Then trial and error to find systems that work for them. Parents stay updated as we figure it out.

Meet Mike and Sean

Mike Goldstein

Mike designed and launched a high school as a Harvard grad student, and later interventions for teens and tweens at the Harvard Innovation Lab and the Harvard Launch Lab.  He writes for the journal Education Next and has worked with Nobel Prize-winning economists to measure program effectiveness.

Mike and his wife Pru live outside Boston; he likes tennis with his teenage son, cooking with his teenage daughter, and fetch with his 4 year old doodle.

His work with teens and tweens emphasizes measurable progress and clear goals.

Sean Geraghty

Sean taught high school math in Chicago, then later served as Chief Academic Officer working with thousands of students. But he kept coming back to the same puzzle: what actually helps teens who are stuck?

These days, Sean works one-on-one with families. His approach is simple: figure out what's really blocking the teen. What actually happens at 7 p.m. on a Tuesday when three assignments are due?

He's learned there's no formula. Some teens need help navigating their chaotic school portal. Others freeze when facing a blank page. Sean helps families try things until something clicks.

He lives in Rhode Island with his wife and three children.
