Meet Sean, Spencer, and Mike

Sean Geraghty

Sean is the co-author of I’ll Do It Later: Surviving School (and Renewing the Love) with Your ADHD Son.

He taught high school math in Chicago, then later served as Chief Academic Officer working with thousands of students. But he kept coming back to the same puzzle: what actually helps teens who are stuck? What breakdown actually happens at 7 p.m. on a Tuesday when three assignments are due tomorrow?

He's learned there's no formula. Some teens need help navigating their chaotic school portal. Others freeze when facing a blank page. Sean helps families try things until something clicks.

Sean has a BA from Boston College and a masters degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He lives in Rhode Island with his wife and three children.

Mike Goldstein

Mike is co-founder of the Center for Teen Flourishing. He has worked with thousands of teenagers - he designed and launched a Boston charter school as a Harvard grad student, then created interventions for teens and tweens at the Harvard Innovation Lab. He writes for the journal Education Next and has worked with Nobel Prize-winning economists to measure program effectiveness.

Mike and his wife Pru live outside Boston. He likes tennis with his teenage son, cooking with his teenage daughter, and fetch with his 6 year old doodle, Grizzly.

Mike has a BA from Duke and a masters degree from the Harvard Kennedy School of public policy. His approach combines rigorous research with practical strategies, focusing on real-world results rather than endless discussion. His style is relaxed, straightforward, and features low quality Dad jokes.

Spencer Blasdale

Spencer is the General Manager of Reset. He has dedicated more than 30 years to supporting teens and their families through education and leadership.

For 16 years, he served as Executive Director at the Academy of the Pacific Rim Charter Public School in Boston. He’s also worked as Chief Program Officer at The Calculus Project, and as CEO of SchoolWorks, an educational consulting company.

Spencer and his wife live outside Boston and have 2 daughters - both have left the nest! He enjoys wing foiling and ice hockey (water in any form). He has an AB from Princeton University and an M.Ed. from Harvard University.
